Shopping Spree: Love Suzie Jewellery

I first heard about Love Suzie Jewellery when they followed me on Twitter. As is customary with a new tweetie follower I had to check them out to make sure that they were a) an actual person rather than one of these automated nonsense profiles, b) a nice person, and c) someone who wasn't going to spam me with silliness! So after their profile passed my daft little test I had a quick nosey at their website and immediately fell in love with this little guy! (Apologies in advance for the poor picture quality - my camera really dislikes shooting close-ups)

Errol The Owl

I love owls and had been looking for the "right" owl necklace for ages. Errol was perfect! Unfortunately he had sold out when I initially browsed, but the lovely lady from Love Suzie (I'm not sure if Suzie is actually her name, but for the purpose of this blog post I'll possibly pretend that it is!) very kindly said that she'd tweet me when he was back in stock.

True to her word, "Suzie" let me know a couple of weeks later that he was available again and I bought him straight away! I also fell in love with the Wish Me Luck! necklace too... ah well, a girl can never have enough pretty jewellery - right?

Wish Me Luck!

I loved the pretty packaging too!

The customer service was fantastic - in fact "Suzie" is probably the friendliest seller that I've ever dealt with and my parcel was with me within two days of ordering. I don't think it gets much better than that!

For what it's worth, I will definitely buy from Love Suzie again and already have one or two other pretties in mind!

Has anything from Love Suzie caught your eye?

xx

**The Boring Small Print: Love Suzie Jewellery had no prior notification of this blogpost. I have not received any goods or compensation from Love Suzie in return for this review. I purchased the items with my own money and all opinions are my own. There. I think that covers everything!**

This is me, now (August review)

It's been a funny old month. I think this review reflects that!

Listening... AFI (Mike's favourite band). And that's been about it really.
Reading... New Moon. Yes, you read correctly, I picked it up again on holiday!
Watching... Same as last month mostly. EastEnders (as always!), Big Brother, Who Do You Think You Are?, and I also saw a really good BBC1 documentary t'other day called "Small Teen, Big World". I like watching things like that.
Buying... Ummm have spent far too much! Beauty: Urban Decay's NYC Book of Shadows, Urban Decay's Naked palette. Lots of nail stuff. Jewellery: Two gorgeous necklaces from Love Suzie Jewellery. Blogposts coming up on all of these v. soon!
Wanting... To turn the clock back. I wish I could take the pain away for Aunty Sue, Uncle Tim and Tom :(
On a more positive note, October is my birthday month and I'm already making a mental wishlist for that! Paco Rabanne's "Lady Million" perfume currently sits firmly at the top of it!
Trying... to think less, live more. To stop worrying about silly things and appreciate what I have.
Loving... the time I spent with my mum and sister when we had a few days at the coast. We went a few days after Mike passed away and looking back I think that time together was what we all needed. Also loved having my best friend Lou to stay later that week and the meal out with all of the old gang :)
Planning... garden. Still. Oh and birthday!! I'm thinking of maybe seeing a show in London. I really want to see Oliver! before its West End run comes to an end in February.
Making... lists. Lots of them. I need to organise myself better!
Writing... not enough! Am shockingly behind on my Mass Observation assignments, must must must get scribbling... (hmmm, this hasn't changed from last month. Or the month before that...)
Cooking... nowt too exciting I'm afraid. I did bake a Victoria Sandwich cake if that counts?
Inspired by... Mike's legacy. He loved life and his passing has made me realise that life's too short to be scared of doing anything.

Wow, it's been a while hasn't it? I'm sorry for the distinct lack of blogposts but what with everything that's happened over this last month I just haven't felt inspired. It's exactly a month today since I posted my "This Is Me Now..." monthly review. It was the night before Mike's operation. It feels like a million years ago. I wish I could turn the clock back to that day and pause time forever. But I can't. And life, however difficult, has to go on.

On a blogging note, I've returned to see that I *somehow* have more new followers! Thank you followers old and new for sticking with me, it means so much :)

I haven't planned what I'm going to say in this post. I just felt like blogging, and this is the rambling result!

And now for another message of thanks. What an amazing group of ladies you are. Compiling my last post was one of the most difficult things that I've ever had to do, and considering you probably haven't met me, my family or Mike, your words of kindness and compassion helped more than you'll ever know. It's always really, really difficult to know what to say to someone in this situation even when you know them in person and so that makes me appreciate your comments even more xxx

I've gone through a few phases of being afraid to let you guys into my "real life".... what was I so scared of?!

You guys are seriously amazing.
